Cars.com waded into the statistics and looked at models based on crash tests, safety, reliability, practicality and drivability.
Two aspects that apparently weren't considered were looks and excitement, because you'd be hard-pressed to find a duller bunch of cars. One exception: the original Scion xB, which remains as much fun today as did in the day.
From a list of 60 vehicles, here's what Cars.com came up with, in alphabetical order:
009 Ford Focus: Its nimble handling and smooth-revving four-cylinder are still appealing. The 2009 Focus is also offered as both a sedan and coupe.
008 Ford Fusion: The first-generation Fusion sedan still hits a sweet spot between ride quality and handling, and family shoppers will appreciate its roomy trunk.

For investors looking for exposure to the US commonwealth of Puerto Rico, banking stocks Doral Financial Corp (NYSE: DRL), First Bancorp (NYSE: FBP), OFG Bancorp (NYSE: OFG) and Popular Inc (NASDAQ: BPOP) offer the best bet as these Puerto Rico stocks trade on major US exchanges rather than the OTC. However, it should be mentioned that there has been a slowdown in Puerto Rico economy which has also shrunk in five of the past seven fiscal years. Then lastFebruary, Puerto Rico debt was cut to speculative grade by the three largest credit-rating companies whileGovernor Alejandro Garcia Padilla has proposed a series of budget cuts to help tackle the island mounting debt load -including the freezing public workerssalaries and the closing about 100 schools.

Other department stores, such as Nordstrom (JWN) and Kohl’s (KSS) are also dedicating more space to active wear, the analysts say.
As a result, Boss and McCormick upgraded Under Armour to Neutral from Underweight. They write:
- [By Sean Williams]
Department store
This was perhaps the biggest shock of all, as Kohl's (NYSE: KSS ) topped Macy'sfor the top spot in department store brand loyalty. Given Kohl's recently weak same-store sales figures, this may not make a lot of sense, but that has more to do with a weakness in the overall economy than a weakness in the company's operational model. Kohl's relies on discounts and promotions, as well as its Kohl's charge card, to bring customers into its stores and keep them hooked. Furthermore, Kohl's online business is among the most shopper-friendly. - [By Tim Melvin]
Opinions are dangerous things when it comes to the financial markets. I may think retail will be slow, but until it happens and stocks like Macy (M) or Kohl (KSS) trade at really low multiples of assets and earnings, there nothing for me to do with my guess. I have made far more money reacting to what the markets actually do than I ever have betting on what they might do.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Sean Williams]
Similarly, hardware sales have hit a brick wall -- just ask Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ ) . HP's PC sales dipped by 20% in the second quarter, with an even larger revenue hit of 37% from its business critical system segment. I'll give some partial leeway to HP given that it's early on in the midst of a restructuring that'll see 29,000 people lose their jobs, but it's nonetheless seeing hardware sales evaporate. Although Oracle derived only $849 million of its $11 billion in revenue in the fourth quarter from hardware, that didn't stop investors from being concerned about its ongoing underperformance.
